ABSTRACT

In as much cross-cultural interactions are normal occurrences in multicultural learning organisations, ensuring and sustaining a positive atmosphere could be a daunting task for school leaders in promoting inclusive education. As this is the final chapter of this book, the key points discussed in the previous chapters are synthesised by integrating cultural intelligence and the prominent leadership models and styles for school leaders to sustain a healthy, culturally diverse school. Subsequently, a framework for culturally strategic leadership is proposed in this chapter to allow school leaders to reflect on how they can effectively lead various stakeholders in a multicultural environment towards inclusion. As an integrated approach, the culturally strategic leadership framework can be applied by school leaders in implementing inclusive practices and programmes in culturally diverse schools regardless of geographical location.
