ABSTRACT

Most every corporate training program for leadership, management, or supervision stresses how employees are your most valued asset. As a leader, you must walk that fine line making sure, as the lawyers rightfully tell us everyone is treated fairly and in a consistent manner versus treating a fewer number in a more favorable (or not) manner. And yet, everyone is different. In this principle, having a team culture based upon respect, fairness, and care is discussed. The writing also takes a deeper dive into how to ignite your team members’ passion and how to teach others to treat you, lays the groundwork for your expectations of behavior, and gives a framework for how you might communicate your commitment to your team.
