ABSTRACT

This chapter focuses on analysing the essence of art (definitions through ages, features, functions, role of art in human life, artistic creativity, beauty phenomena and concepts, interference between aesthetics and ethics) and the essence of management (definitions, features, levels, and functions, including self-management) in search of common areas between these two fields. It also determines the interpenetration of these fields at the colloquial and scientific levels and introduces the concept of management aesthetics and its place within humanistic management.
