ABSTRACT

In this closing chapter, the book wraps up our inquiry into the conditions for life by redressing the environmental question and the paths of thinking from the History of Being toward the Immanence of Life. This chapter digs deeper into the ungroundedness of Being to question the mystical idea of Ereignis and to think the sustainability of life by redressing the concepts of Ereignis and Geviert in the perspective of the life constellations of the Peoples of the Earth. The disjunctive category of environmental rationality opens the horizons for the transition to a World of Life through a dialogue of savoirs conceived as the encounter of different cultural beings, in which the conditions for life have been identified in their life imaginaries, savoirs, and practices; embodied, resignified, and territorialized in the biosphere: by reinventing their modes of inhabiting the world in accordance with the biothermodynamic-ecological and symbolic-cultural conditions for life on Earth.
