ABSTRACT
In this introduction, the author provides a glimpse into his worldview, Psychoadaptation, as well as the history of his book-production process during the pandemic. He also provides a brief description of each chapter and a rationale for each. He advises the reader to pick and choose which chapters he or she reads based on his or her personal and career interests, although the author highly advises the reader to read the first and last chapters before proceeding. This introduction is a good sample of what the reader will encounter if he or she chooses to read the book, as the author dives into his friendly writing style. Treating the reader as if they were friends from the start, the author anticipates what the reader feels and needs as he or she reads each word. Thus, reading this introduction and the rest of the book is like having a conversation with a friend instead of a tedious exercise in academics.
