ABSTRACT
This chapter provides an example of a Life Cycle Cost Analysis report. The example is given for a residential villa project under the Sustainable Green Building Program developed by an Urban Planning Council. The Life Cycle Cost Analysis is carried out for various building components such as water faucets, water closets, solar hot water systems, air-conditioning systems, building envelopes, and lightings.
A thorough Life Cycle Cost Analysis of the alternatives is done for finalizing the various design options and building materials for the project. Options with the logical and effective Life Cycle Cost are taken into the project consideration. Life Cycle Cost Analysis sheets along with the formula are provided for all the options.
