ABSTRACT
To get an impression of the beliefs and customs of the primitive Malay one has only to compare customs and beliefs still surviving in the culture of the modern Malay with those of the Khassis, as above one compared certain of their practices. Or one may again compare Malay beliefs and customs with those of the Mois of Indo-China.
