ABSTRACT
In Chapter 2 we introduced the methods for treating data that have served for nearly all of data analyses we have presented thus far. However, at that time we indicated that these methods were intended to be flexible and subject to change depending upon the circumstances arising in some particular investigation. In this chapter we deal with possible variations in the treatment of data and some consequences of those variations.
