ABSTRACT

The population of West Seneca of about 45,000 places it on the lower end of my medium-sized cases, below other suburban towns such as Tinley Park, Palm Beach Gardens, and Marietta. Its median household income places it below Tinley and Palm Beach Gardens as well, and its population is over 96% white. West Seneca has partisan elections, utilizes the lesser-used Town Council government, which utilizes a town supervisor and council, and is perhaps best known to people around the country as a tourist stop along the way to Niagara Falls.
