ABSTRACT

This is the summary and pinnacle of all the work that has preceded it. Novel of Life III is a full-fledged fictitious rendering of the play as you see it and imagine it. This is a subjective, imaginative exercise in which you sketch out the full play, or most of it, in your own words, with your own insights and visions. Unlike many of the Text Actions already achieved, Novel of Life III is meant not as a deep study of the play, but as your visual, emotional, and graphic account as the Events of the play occur. Color, atmosphere, interiority of characters, and fantasies dipped in the elixir of the play can all come to the foreground. There is no mandatory model for doing this. But the chapter gives three distinctive examples, one from Anatoli Efros, one from the author of this book, and one from Dmitry Krymov. The form yours takes should be your form and yours alone.
