ABSTRACT
Chapter 10, the first of two chapters in Part V, brings in prosecuting attorneys to gain a greater understanding of how they viewed both the Miller and Montgomery decisions. In addition, their opposition to both Miller and Montgomery are explained, often in the words of prosecutors, so readers can better understand why they might be against resentencing and possibly releasing people who were given juvenile life without the possibility of parole sentences.
