ABSTRACT

Experiencing a loss can affect how a person sees things and consequently maybe their judgement. A client may become very ‘blurred’ for a while. They can make assumptions or jump to a conclusion too quickly. These are all very normal reactions and behaviours when dealing with a loss. The main objective of the script is to encourage the client not to respond immediately to what they see (or hear) but rather take time to explore and look deeper into the picture. This is done through imagining and using the ‘Death’ card in a pack of tarot cards, which is often misinterpreted. The card symbolises an end of something – an era or chapter in one’s life – rather than an actual death.
