ABSTRACT
The metaphorical story of Layla is concerning a young girl who is about to be the victim of a forced marriage and can be used for other young people (both female and male) who may be at risk of being force married or are being forced to lead very restricted lives. The significance of using an anchor (a spoon in the story) is illustrated and the importance of not giving up hope by imagining, planning and rehearsing.
