ABSTRACT
Chapter 6 examines what constitutes website blocking, how website-blocking laws have been introduced as a new enforcement mechanism, and whether the courts consider principles such as proportionality and the public interest when granting website-blocking injunctions. This analysis uses the 2015 and 2018 amendments to the Copyright Act to explore the impact of website-blocking laws on streaming.
