Ads have this mysterious and uncanny attraction that an average media consumer cannot escape. Some ads regale us while others may bore us, but they do occupy our mind space. Advertising is believed to work sublimely. Some people feel that ad influence has to do with age. The younger one is, the more aspirational she/he is, making ads a reference point in their lives. Ads often draw extreme response, depending on where it is coming from.
