ABSTRACT

Beginning from the Han Dynasty, classics were divided into ancient texts and modern texts. Then the Southern Studies and Northern Studies appeared, followed by Hanxu and Songxue. Finally, they were redivided into ancient texts and modern texts. Classics almost returned to the original state, so did the schools of classics studies. The author provides insightful ideas on The Book of Changes, The Book of Documents, The Book of Poetry, The Book of Rites, The Spring and Autumn Annals, etc.
