ABSTRACT

Focusing on the philosophers in the Zhou and Qin dynasties, Zhang Taiyan provides insightful ideas on Confucianism, Daoism, Mohism, the School of Yin-Yang, the School of Diplomacy, Legalism, the School of Names, Syncretism, Agriculturalism, and the Family of Small Talks. With appropriate supports, he evaluated their special cultural values in modern China.
