ABSTRACT
True success for a school community comes through increased ownership. All stakeholders in the community must feel an obligation to ensure success for each individual child. In order to create this community, each adult must see their roles and strengths in the journey. In this chapter there are specific steps provided to increase the capacity of the adults. The ultimate success in any school community is the belief of “Every child, every adult, every day!”
Increased ownership often comes from the leader identifying the team that will drive the journey. This team must have a consistent mindset and motivation to grow the vision throughout the school community. Included are some resources to help identify and develop that team of teacher leaders. One resource includes the development of a common mindset as well as tools to create sustainability.
