Pick-Up Artists

Pick-up Artists (PuAs) are a manosphere group that emphasizes the use of social and verbal techniques and manipulations in order to seduce women. Many of the techniques they employ, and teach to their followers, are based upon manosphere notions about the biological essentialism of women's behavior and sexual choices. The chapter describes the roots of the modern Pick-up Artist trade as well as the ideas and methods they currently use.
