ABSTRACT
Three months have passed since I started writing this book, and I have hardly slept. In that time, I constantly had to revisit every chapter because a payment ecosystem actor did something interesting that I wanted to include, or because a regulation changed or came into effect, or because a new type of fraud emerged. I had to stop somewhere, and this is my somewhere. Did I answer all your questions? I hope I managed to answer at least some of them. But if you, like me, are curious about why some questions remain, I hope I have equipped you to go and find the answers. I also attempted to provide a comprehensive glossary, because I haven’t seen one like it in the industry and I always wanted one. I hope it will be useful.
