ABSTRACT

Three case studies are examined to look at Confirmation in the Anglican communion. This is a period of missionary growth, although the selection is constrained by the pragmatics of available evidence. Examples will include more pioneering situations but also the more settled church. Cases are examined from the United States, Canada, and India. Growth in Confirmation is noted in these places with some caveats. Patterns of an international nature are noted. This thus gives a wider snapshot than a purely English perspective.
