ABSTRACT
Ricketts (1866-1931) was trained as an illustrator, founded the Vale Press in 1896 and in 1904 turned to painting, modelling and theatrical design. He wrote at length about Post-Impressionism in his collected Pages on Art (1913) (see no. 37).
