The simplest way to produce a change in the Lobby system might be to drop some bombs on the Houses of Parliament. This was last done by Adolf Hitler on io May 1941; when the Press Gallery was rebuilt in 195o, extra accommodation was provided, and the provincial evening newspapers were admitted for the first time.
