ABSTRACT
Selecting contributors for any book is difficult. For this book I tried to include an equal number of women who ‘do’ and ‘don’t’. I also tried to get a representative group with respect to age, class, marital status, sexual preference, children or no children, and race. I could not, of course, achieve this ideal state, but the list came close. One strong regret I have is that I did not have space for a more varied representation from young women.
