ABSTRACT

Nance Cotter is an active member of the Women’s Action Alliance. Australian, aged 55, she has been married for thirty years and has seven daughters and two sons ranging in age from 29 to 15 years. Prior to marriage she was a typist and stenographer. Through her association with WAA she has presented many papers on Parenthood and Family Life, The Role of Women in Today’s World, and Financial Support for Families. Nance has always believed in fostering the advancement of women, feeling that the well-educated, confident woman is a better mother. She therefore advocates the best possible education for girls.
