ABSTRACT
Claire French is fifty-eight, with two sons and a daughter. She was born in Bavaria and migrated to Australia after the Second World War. She has had a variety of jobs from grape-picker, to Secretary to the French Consulate, university tutor in German, and now a tutor in Women’s Studies. She received her Master’s degree in 1969. A feminist, Claire now studies women’s history, jungian psychology, religion and sexuality and the mythology of goddesses, all of which she has written on.
