ABSTRACT

Australian by birth, Lynne Spender has returned home after three years in Canada. With an MA in English, she was a teacher for a number of years and is now studying for an MA in Women’s Studies at the University of New South Wales as well as undertaking legal studies. She is thirty-five and has two sons aged four and eight. She is a founding member of the Feminist Party of Canada, a member of Women’s Electoral Lobby (Australia) and has written Intruders on the Rights of Men: Women’s Unpublished Heritage (Pandora Press, 1983).
