ABSTRACT
Margrit Eichler lectures in Sociology and Women’s Studies at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. German by birth, she is content to remain in Canada. Margrit is forty, married, with a thirteen year old son. She has her PhD, she has written many articles, and her book, The Double Standard: A Feminist Critique of Feminist Social Science was published in 1980 by Croom Helm.
