ABSTRACT
Peggy Seeger was born in the United States but now resides in Britain. She is forty-seven and has two sons (twenty-three and nineteen) and a daughter (nine). Peggy is well known for her singing of folk and contemporary songs and is involved in songwriting, music arranging, composing and conducting. Most of her songs about women are on her records: ‘Penelope Isn’t Waiting Any More’ (Rounder 4011) and ‘Different Therefore Equal’ (Blackthorne 1061).
