ABSTRACT
In earlier chapters some variations between doctors of different ages and doctors with different types of qualifications have been mentioned. Here the variations are brought together and further ones explored. The chapter starts with basic characteristics of sex and age, then moves on to look at the country in which the doctors qualified, their vocational training since qualification, and member-ship of the Royal College of General Practitioners. Finally their list sizes and the types of areas in which they work are considered.
