ABSTRACT

Up to now, the main emphasis in this report has been on mothers’ experiences, although their views on certain aspects of these experiences have also been considered. This chapter is concerned with the information mothers were given at different stages of their childbearing, with the sources of this information, with mothers’ desire for further information, with their views on induction and their preferences for different types of care in the future, and with their perceptions about the choices they had for different types of care during their recent childbearing experience.
