ABSTRACT
Ann Philipose, a Mumbai-based research analyst, working with Oliver Rothman Consultants, had just been assigned her next project by her employer in July 2019. It was to study the creditworthiness of Tata International Limited (TIL), a global trading company belonging to the Tata group. Oliver Rothman was recently hired by a large commercial bank interested in offering buyer's credit to a few of TIL's subsidiaries operating in the UAE and Africa.
