ABSTRACT
On June 1, 2021, Meher Bulsara – Senior Manager (Finance) at DBS Auto Company, called a meeting with two of her team members, Danish Merchant and Lakshmi Nadar. She wanted to discuss the preparation of estimates to support an investment decision regarding the company's proposed electric two-wheelers project (EL-2). DBS Auto was a mid-sized auto component player producing aluminium die-cast engine components for two-wheeler companies.
