ABSTRACT
Alex Shen had two hours left to bring out his credit analysis on Bharti Airtel's foreign currency convertible bond (FCCB) issue, which opened on January 8, 2020. Alex was a Singapore-based fixed income credit analyst at Washburn Asset Management. His role was to analyse the bond issues of Asia-based issuers of fixed income securities. Alex had to prepare a report that covered the credit profile of the issuer, the features of the instrument, key valuation metrics, and an opinion regarding the issue price.
