ABSTRACT
This chapter offers some concluding remarks on the insights gained into the nature and form of semantic variation derived from the unified system of semantic representations as formulated in this book. A programmatic description of the consequences for language typology and linguistic research in general and of potential future research avenues is provided. Also, this chapter lays bare a number of open questions that are not currently fully clear but need to be tackled for investigations along the lines suggested in this book.
