Other aid The Ministry of Interior provides counselling services on request to script writers who receive script development subsidies on request.

a) The producer must make a reasonable contribution to the cost of the film. b) Shooting must not commence before the decision to grant aid is taken. c) The beneficiary must undertake to exhibit the film together with a German

short film. d) The film cannot be shown on normal and pay TV channels until at least

two years after its cinema release, or released on video until six months after its cinema release. However, these periods can be negotiated to suit the interests of the producer and the film industry.
