ABSTRACT
Methodism was founded by Themison of Laodicea (12343 B.c.), who practised medicine at Rome during the reign of Augustus, and from the time of this physician it has borne the name which characterizes it, because its creator thought to have discovered a method by which medicine was made easier to understand and practise ; perhaps also because in this system everything was much more regularly ordered than in Dogmatism.
