ABSTRACT
In previous chapters an attempt has been made to examine the work life of the lorry driver and his attitude to this. The last chapter indicates that his occupation has definite consequences for his family life. What follows is an insight into the relationship of the lorry driver's work role to his other roles in the work situation and also to his pattern of leisure activity.
