ABSTRACT

Insofar as the transforming symbols coming from the depths are found and realized, a man is able to discover a creative middle way between the opposites, a living integration of consciousness and the unconscious. Jung calls this the individuation process. No two people encounter it in the same manner. Nevertheless, there are certain broad generalizations which hold true for most. As Reilly says in The Cocktail Party, all cases are unique and very similar to others.
