VOW EL SOUNDS, CONCLUDED-SIN G LE OR DOU BLE RESO NANCE ?
Up to th is point we have left the question of single or double resonances in a very uncertain condition. My own observations all pointed to double resonances for the vowels a (calm), o (all), xl (who), while the very refined in strum ental m ethods of D. C. Miller and the electrical experim ents of S tew art indicated single resonances only.
