Köhler’s extensive review of the gestalt theory, published in 1929 ( Gestalt Psychology , Horace Liveright, New York); on the one hand, and, on the other, certain findings of experimental biology, have carried the appraisal of gestalt physiology to a new stage, beyond our preceding considerations.
