Results of Speech Tests

The tests used for ten years at Mount Holyoke College were the Blanton-Stinchfield Speech Measurements, devised at the University of Wisconsin, 1920–22, in order to provide some way of measuring school and university students as to speech attainment, and to enable the examiner to classify them as to speech proficiency or to place them in groups for class or individual training.
