ABSTRACT
THE conservation and measurement of distance and length were studied in part II, while in part III we examined linear measurements in two or three dimensions. Ch. XI was devoted to the conservation and measurement of area. The ground has been further prepared by ch. XIII, in which we studied how children double areas and volumes. We now turn to the conservation and measurement of volume.
