ABSTRACT
THE non-graphic collections of ch. II are the immediate precursors of classes involving a structure of inclusion. The construction of such classes implies a thorough grasp of “all” and “some”, no mean achievement, as we saw in the course of the last chapter. We can now turn to a discussion of stage III, which is characterized by class inclusion, and we shall be describing new experiments bearing on the transition from stage II to stage III.
