ABSTRACT
The general law of association answered the question, ‘How may the teacher choose stimuli that will produce the desired present response?’, by the principle of apperception. The same law answers the question, ‘How may the teacher arrange stimuli, so as to insure right responses in the future?’, by the principles of habit formation.
