ABSTRACT
This experiment serves to investigate the chief varieties of the subjects' voluntarily evoked imagery. Use is made of an abbreviated and slightly modified form of Dr. Bett's questionnaire (see Distribution and Functions of Imagery, Columbia University Press). The student should carefully note that the ability to evoke images belonging to any of the categories named does not imply that such images are ordinarily used in thinking.
