ABSTRACT
Science and philosophy have been for a long time confounded. What characterizes science is the appeal to verification, the subordination of theories to facts, in short, the experimental attitude; while philosophy is satisfied with internal logical coherence and limits itself progressively to problems which cannot be submitted to experimental control.
