ABSTRACT
It is a very widespread opinion, but one which is none the less entirely inaccurate, that none of the cerebral localizations relative to language can be maintained to-day. Though different views are opposed to the old ones, there are unquestionable anatomo-patho-logical facts in evidence of localization, which, though less exact than we might wish, is much more so than certain writers would have us believe.
