ABSTRACT
This book is not about the law or ethics but those topics are of such importance to journalism that no book about subediting would be complete without considering them. That said, a single chapter should not be considered a replacement for a full-length book such as McNae’s Essential Law for Journalists or, best of all, a proper training course run by an accredited organisation.
