ABSTRACT
It cannot be safely asserted of all the Languages under this category, that they belong to one Family, as can assuredly be said of the Semitic. They are thrown together in a Group, because Geographically they are near each other, and they have certain Linguistic characteristics in common. It has been decidedly a step in advance to group all non-Semitic Languages with Grammatical Gender in the North and North-East of Africa together, and to divide them into three Geographical Sub-Groups.
